Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration required. Prefer candidates to be enrolled and in the process of acquiring a Master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Affairs or Public Policy upon employment. Texas driver’s license required. One (1) year of experience preferred in general or functional city management. Skill required in effectively communicating and coordinating with people of diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, appointed and elected officials and the public. Knowledge of principles and practices of the state legislative process
preferred. Must be skilled in public speaking, data analytics, and written communications.
